The Year We Choose With Intention

We kicked off the year with a pause and a reflective exercise to bring  awareness on what we’ve gone through the year and been carrying.

With a candle lit, we took a moment to write down what felt heavy — old habits that no longer serve us, guilt from the past, fear of not being enough, financial anxiety, and the reflex to say yes when it costs us our peace.

We didn’t rush it.

We sat with the words.

We let ourselves feel what was there.

Then we made a conscious choice to let them go.

Letting go doesn’t mean pretending things didn’t matter or didn’t hurt. It means deciding what we’re willing to carry forward — and what we’re not.

After that, we named what we want to lean into this year. Peace. Clearer boundaries. Steadiness. Self-trust. Just showing up with a little more kindness and honesty toward ourselves.

That moment felt vulnerable — but also like a weight had lifted. The future felt a little more hopeful and more intentional. Not because we made big promises, but because we felt clearer about the direction we’re moving in. A year shaped by growth, awareness, and the courage to choose ourselves again.

At Well Within, we believe clarity starts with a pause. If you gave yourself one today, what might you be ready to let go of … and what would you want more of this year?

Take what resonates.
Leave what doesn’t.
And come back whenever you need a pause.
